So I'm a few days early with the weekly update, because we have MORE tickets to Tuesday's Bravehearts Game in Worcester. This is the only evening we are offering admission to the games so if your kids enjoy the game, or enjoy the food and ambiance of the stadium here's your chance to spend time with your kids enjoying the Great American Past Time. It's somewhat ASD friendly in that the stadium, being an outdoor venue has no overwhelming auditory input. Usually you can find seating where you aren't packed like sardines and as a bonus, the game is right here in Central Massachusetts so no driving into Boston, paying $50 for parking or navigating the T. What could be better? Works for me and for my son so I hope we'll see you there. Tickets are only $3.00/pp and the Bravehearts make an effort to make the experience family friendly.
ALSO - DADS!!! We've a Dad's Night Out the first week in August. Check out the calendar below.
Also want to let you all know that the Center will be closed on Wednesday while we are at Centro in Fitchburg for our one day conference for families. We'll be hosting another day long conference in Milford in September on the 27th, so if you are new to the disability world and want to learn more about Accessing Public Supports, Special Education Law and Sensory issues, save the date! It's not often that you can attend a conference for free !
This weekend the weather looks like it will improve for our annual day at Breezy Picnic Grounds, I 'll be there again with my son, who loves this annual event.
Hope to see you sometime this week
