Happy Friday, Cornerstone Family! We're back in-person this Sunday with Cornerstone Member Gene Baldwin as our guest preacher. He'll be preaching on John 20:24-31 with a sermon titled, "The Ladder of Belief". You can read more about Gene below.

Gene was born in Baxter Springs, Kansas, attended Pittsburg State University and then moved to Wichita, Kansas after graduation. In his working career, he was a Tax Practitioner, Chief Financial Officer and Restructuring Advisor. Gene and Mary have been married for 16 years, and they have been members at Cornerstone for 6 years.

Our services will include celebration of the Lord's Supper. We'll also be collecting our Benevolence Offering as an outflow of our worship. This fund is designated to assist people in our congregation and community who are struggling financially. You can place your offering in one of the boxes in the Worship Center or give securely online (select "Benevolence Offering" in dropdown menu).

Also during services, Cornerstone Missionary Charlie Lamento will share an update on his mission work through Global Hope Network International. More information about Charlie is below and you can click here for his December update letter.

Charlie Lamento is a distinguished international human rights attorney, a former criminal prosecutor (Jackson County, Kansas City, MO), and an esteemed lecturer in international law. He is committed to legislative advocacy and the development of public policy, as well as training and educational initiatives aimed at fortifying public justice systems to combat human trafficking and sexual violence against children.

Cornerstone Basics is a class designed for you to learn more about the Christian faith. For the winter series, Elder Deb Swirczynski and Staff Member Jordan Robinson will lead you through a course to discover your spiritual gifts. Details and registration below!

Due to canceled services last Sunday, help us take down the Christmas decor THIS Sunday, January 12th, after the 11:00AM service (around 12:15PM). Many of the small items have been taken down. We'll need help with the trees and other larger items. Thank you for serving!

"Fellowship Dinner" has a new name in 2025: Community Night! Despite the new name, our focus is still the same. We'll continue to be out in the community, sharing a meal together or participating in other events and activities. Join us at our first community night of 2025! Details below!

For our January Mission Focus, we're supporting New Hope Food Pantry. Mission bags are available in the church lobby. Fill a bag with their needed items and then place it in the mission bin anytime this month. Thank you for stocking their shelves for the new year!

Cornerstone Classics is back in 2025! This book club reads a Christian book every month and then discusses it on Zoom the second Monday of the month at 7:00PM.
