Red Cross Logo
Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 22nd. March has been recognized as Red Cross Month by every U.S. president since 1943 in celebration of the Red Cross volunteers who help those in need by giving their time, money or blood. The need for blood is great and the severe/winter weather that has affected the nation has increased this need. Join the Red Cross Movement this Wednesday, March 22nd to help. The Blood Drive runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and the bloodmobile will be parked in the parking lot at the Chamber office. Member Spotlight: Valuable Connections
Jeff Larson, Minnesota Energy Resources
I am the External Relations Manager at Minnesota Energy Resources. I've been working in the natural gas business since 1979 and I grew up with my father in the business so natural gas has been putting food on my table my entire life. I'm currently responsible for external affairs statewide. This includes working with commercial/industrial customers, government relations, growth projects, public safety awareness, charitable contributions and more. Membership and participation in Dakota County Regional Chamber has been important to me because it helps me develop valuable connections with local business leaders and to promote our product and our conservation improvement programs. Networking is a valuable tool to keep in touch with what's happening in our community and that helps us to provide good service to all. I've also made connections with people who I've been able to do business with in my personal life.
