Many Emanuelites were excited to attend Itzhak Perlman’s March 16 concert at The Bushnell, but Emanuel members Fern & Joel Cohen had an extra thrill when they got to meet the virtuoso violinist in person! The musically talented Fern (whose daughter-in-law arranged the meet and greet) told Perlman how impressed she is by his years of devotion teaching children around the world to play the violin.

The Emanuel kitchen was filled last week with the delicious smells of hamantaschen, as Sisterhood members baked more than 400 pieces of the Purim treat for the March 23 Groovy Purim Party

The Welcome Kiddush for new Executive Director Jacob Schreiber originally planned for March 23 has been postponed. A new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
