Please pray for the Huff Family as they mourn the loss of Gene Huff who passed away this last week. His funeral is here at Redeemer on April 15 at 11:00 AM.

Please take your palm branches home with you after worship this Sunday!

Giving Cards
A big thank you to all who have turned in their giving cards! If you have not yet turned in your card, please remember to do so! We are still accepting them.

Holy Week
Join us for Maundy Thursday worship on April 18 at 7:00 PM, Good Friday worship on April 19 at 7:00 PM, and Easter Sunday worship at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM!

Crop Camp
Crop Camp is back at Redeemer!  Please join us on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm for Crop Camp.  This fundraiser will support the Summer Youth Trip.  Meals, bottled water and prizes will be covered by the registration fee.  Come and enjoy a day of scrapbooking with your friends!  Registration forms can be found at the welcome center.  If you have any questions please contact Angie Sanchez at  smiley09@comcast.net
 
Spring Into Action
Sign-up sheets will be available outside the Sanctuary April 14 and 21.
Senior Care: Carol Lau, Chuck Wright, and two more volunteers. Bingo at Cerenity Senior Care from 1:15 PM to 2:30 PM on Friday, April 26.
Food Ministry: Ten spots reserved at Second Harvest's new Brooklyn Park facility. Meet Brian Adams in front of church at 8:15 AM Saturday morning, April 27, volunteer from 9:00 AM- 1:30 AM. Volunteers eight and up are welcome!
Social Advocacy:
Learn about Represent Us, a non-partisan group focused on fair elections. Mike Lundberg, Sunday, April 28 from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM in the Library. Lunch and child care as requested at sign up.

Welcoming Visitors
As part of the Neighbor to Neighbor efforts, Redeemer has sent out approximately 750 Easter invitation postcards to homes recently purchased nearby. Please keep an eye out for visitors, particularly at the Easter services! According to information provided by the Synod, people in our area put the highest priority on having a warm and friendly encounter when visiting a church. If you see a new face, please take a moment to welcome them!

High School Mission Trip
The time has come to make your decision to attend the High School Mission Trip to St. Louis, MO from June 23 through June 29 (open to 8th grade through 12th grade youth). Check out youthworks.com for specifics. Cost is $350.00 but we will fundraise to lower this amount. A $50.00 deposit is due by April 15. Make checks out to Redeemer. Fundraiser for June High School Mission Trip
Bring your wallet and your appetite to the first annual chili cook-off on Wednesday, May 1 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Free willing offering. You will help us pick the winner! Any leftover chili will be sold. Come out and support our youth!

PrimeTime

April PrimeTime Event
The Three Days; Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Vigil of Easter; are the center of the Christian story yet the shortest season in the church year. We will reflect on the tangible objects used in worship on our journey from the upper room to the empty tomb with Rev. Beth Gaede, ELCA Pastor and Senior Acquisitions Editor, Fortress Press. Thursday, April 18. We will have coffee plus at 9:30 AM and the devotions and speaker will begin at 10:00 AM. A free will offering will be received. Sign up at the Welcome Center or call the church office between March 21 and April 14.
