SCATTERING SEEDS ~ Sabbatical Project

We hope many of you have picked up and read the book Scattering Seeds, Cultivating Church Vitality, by Stephen Chapin Garner.

Please plan to join us on Sunday, in the Fellowship Hall after the service, for a brief and general discussion regarding the book.  Come share your thoughts over a cup of coffee! We look forward to hearing your impressions.

Mission Reminder

Be sure to read the bulletin inset this week addressing our Neighbors in Need special offering on October 6th. This annual collection for the UCC has the focus of mental health this year occurring on World Communion Sunday. Dear Pilgrim Church Congregation,

We are excited to announce that we are enhancing the beauty of our beloved church. The project will involve replacing the carpet in the balcony area and refinishing the wood flooring at the entrance and stairs.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding as we undergo these improvements. Please pardon any inconvenience caused by the construction process. We are committed to completing this project efficiently and with minimal disruption to our church activities.

Warmest Regards,

Erik Dilger, Trustee

Stewardship Reflections

"Giving to the church is an act of faith, trusting that God will multiply your generosity for the greater good.”

Please remember, we will NEVER ask you for money or gift cards via an email!

STEWARDSHIP/THANKSGIVING SUNDAY PLANNING

We need your help in planning for the Stewardship/Thanksgiving Sunday Luncheon on Sunday, November 24th. The Stewardship Committee is seeking help to plan for this pot-luck luncheon.

Set up and break down is always easier with many hands. And there is always a need for people to help make all the wonderful food for us to enjoy together that day after church. Please contact Ellen Barrett at barrett1126@msn.com if you are interested in helping out.

Angelique is updating her lists!

Please register your children for Sunday School here, even if you’ve been attending for years! Thank you!
