Welcome to Pilgrim Church of Duxbury
An Open & Affirming Congregation

Dear Church Family,

As we step into the middle of April,  I hope and pray you all hold onto the Easter joy! This year was a wonderful celebration and it was so nice to see so many people! Remember that Easter is not just a date on the calendar; it is the very heart of our hope, the assurance of God’s love for you and a reminder that we are called to serve! It is so much easier when there are LOTS OF YOU!

As we move into the last part of April and into May, you will notice so many opportunities to share your faith in community with others. On Sunday, April 26th, after church, we will be having a Potluck Brunch sponsored by our Mission Team and they will share so many different opportunities for you to share your gifts of service, including Habitat for Humanity, Plymouth Coalition, South Shore Interfaith, food donations, and more! Plan to join us as we get to share with you the impact that your ministry and stewardship has allowed us to offer others! YOU WILL BE AMAZED!

Easter provides a wonderful opportunity for us to reach out to others I am so thankful for each of you and for the way you faithfully serve and love one another. It is a joy to be your Pastor and to walk alongside you on your journey of faith.

Continue to let this Easter season fill your heart with renewed joy, strengthened faith, and a deeper love for our risen Savior.

He is risen…He is risen indeed!

In Christ,

RB

Soup for Comfort

In our small freezer in the kitchen, we have some homemade soup. Vegetarian lentil/Barley, chicken noodle, chili, corn chowder, clam chowder and green chicken chili.

Soup and some bread can be so comforting.

If you know of someone who would benefit from some homemade soup, please see either Diane Corbett or Lucy Shepard on any Sunday during coffee hour.

The Mission & Outreach Committee has set up a group Build Day with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Plymouth. It will be held on Saturday, May 30th from 8 AM to 3 PM at their Carver renovation site on Green St. We are looking for 10 volunteers for this mission. If you are interested, please sign up on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall or contact
