Active Hope

Are you sometimes overwhelmed with the state of our earth and direction we are heading? You’re not alone. The book “Active Hope How to Face the Mess We’re in with Unexpected Resilience & Creative Power” is a positive guide to help us find our best way forward - personally and together.

“Our approach is to see this as the starting point of an amazing journey that strengthens and deepens our aliveness and makes our lives profoundly satisfying.” Please sign up if you are at all interested in meeting starting in mid January Sundays after the service. Therese Schutte is leading a group of people who love music and want to help the music ministry here at Unity of Eau Claire. All voices and instruments are welcome to join the group. Here are the dates for the song collective to practice and be a part of the worship service.

January 2023

As Unity members settle into the early months of 2023 I give you a few easy ways to help increase income for Unity of Eau Claire. All of the monies earned through the following go into the General Fund.

1.    Donate your used books to be put on the bookshelves in the foyer.

2.    Donate unused and broken jewelry to Sue Carlson for repurposing to sell in the gift store.

3.    Spring Thrift Sale. This is a money maker only if YOU save everything, except large furniture and clothing, to donate for the sale.

    If you Absolutely have nowhere to store your items until the sale, Sue

   will store them in her She Shed for you.

   Our Holiday Thrift Sale in October was very lucrative so also hang on

   to those holiday decorations that you don’t want anymore.

FYI: As of Feb. 20, 2023 Amazon’s SMILE program will be discontinued.

Thank you all for taking the time to think about doing some or all of the above. Share these ideas with your friends, relatives and neighbors too. You would not only be increasing income for Unity of Eau Claire but recycling items, reusing items and reducing what goes in our landfills.
