Dear Holy Name Families,
Yesterday featured many activities to celebrate our 100th day of school. Kindergarten students dressed as 100-year-olds complete with gray mustaches, hair, and eyebrows. They took their acting seriously - moving much more slowly in the hallways and needing their canes for trips to the bathroom.
Meanwhile, the first grade designed t-shirts featuring 100 hearts, stars, balloons, and more to mark the occasion. Both grades enjoyed many fun 100-themed activities.
Students enjoyed the red, white, and pink casual day today along with classroom parties for Valentine's Day.
We hope everyone enjoys break. While we still have a week of February remaining when we return, I want to highlight some upcoming events in March; it is a busy month of activities and events. Be sure to purchase your tickets for Home & School's March Madness Prize Calendar by February 28th for 31 chances to win in March. Next month, the school will host its annual Book Fair and Student Council will host its second annual March Madness Tournament as well as an 80s themed dance. The Parish will host its "Me and My Guy" Dance and its annual St. Patrick's Day party next month as well. See additional details about these events in the sections below.
Have a great vacation.
Best regards,
Mr. Daniel Chisholm
Principal
