Dear Holy Name Families,
Despite being delayed by snow once more, students made rosaries with Build the Faith on Wednesday to support their mission of building churches around the world. All students, from nursery through sixth grade, worked diligently and displayed respect and responsibility as they carefully constructed their set of beads. Once sold, the 350 sets will raise more than $10,000 for Build the Faith. Thank you to all the parents who purchased a set to support this effort.
Kindergarten enjoyed their celebration of the 100th day of school dressing as 100-year-olds on Wednesday. First grade will celebrate the occasion next week with their tee shirts adorned with 100 items.
HNPS basketball returns this weekend. Good luck to all the teams! The Student Council's March Madness Tournament and Home and School's Glow Run are quickly approaching. We'll need volunteers for both events. Volunteer sign ups will be going out soon.
Best regards,
Mr. Chisholm

On Wednesday, our students partnered with the Build the Faith Foundation to assemble rosaries—and the impact is so much bigger than beads and string. Every rosary our students made will support a mission founded by an extraordinary 9-year-old girl, Christina Dangond, and her family. Build the Faith is dedicated to constructing Catholic churches and retreat houses in communities around the world that need them most—creating sacred spaces of hope, strength, and unity.
Each rosary our students assembled will be sold to benefit this beautiful mission.
Thank you to Build the Faith and the many volunteers for inspiring our young people to understand that faith truly can transform lives. Rosary beads are available to purchase. Click here for additional information.

Boston Reads Day
On Thursday, nursery, K1 and K2 had some special visitors! Members of Boston EMS, The Mayor's Office, Boston Police, and the Boston Public Library volunteered to read See Marcus Grow by Marcus Bridgewater to our students. Every child left with their own copy to share with their family at home. Boston Reads—is our City's bold new literacy initiative building early childhood development and a love of reading.
| | We finally made it to —Day 100 of school! 100 days of learning, growing, and making memories together! Despite the blizzard throwing us a curveball, our "elders" arrived in full costume glory on Wednesday! Gray hair, canes, curlers—the whole nine yards. Today was all about "100" lots of cool activities to celebrate this milestone. | | |
PI DAY IS COMING
Mrs. Frye's sixth grade mathematicians are bringing the math magic! This year, our talented students are putting on a Pi Day Play for our second and fourth graders—and we can't wait to see what they've created! They are working hard and will present the play on Friday the 13th (since Pi Day falls on a Saturday this year). Stay tuned for the math celebration.
