Dear Holy Name Families,

Congratulations to our second graders who received their First Communion last Saturday and Sunday!

Thank you for honoring our teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week. We are grateful to our students and parents for recognizing the teachers' dedication to our school community. The week began with a well-deserved walk down the red carpet on Monday and continued through the rest of the week with cards, treats and goodies, and gifts for our teachers. Thank you to the Parent Ambassadors for celebrating our teachers in so many ways this week.

Nursery and K1 enjoyed some fun activities with their mothers today that including singing songs, blowing bubbles, and taking their turns at classroom centers. Thank you to all the mothers who joined us this morning and we'd like to wish a Happy Mothers' Day to all the mothers in our school community.

Next week our Band will perform its Spring Concert on Tuesday at 9 am in Parish Hall. On Thursday, we will gather for a School Mass to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension. It is also our traditional Buddy Mass. Sixth graders will process in cap and gown with their nursery buddies. All are welcome to attend.

Enjoy the weekend.

Best regards,

Mr. Chisholm

Holy Name Happenings - Through the Lens

Second Grade Goes Global with Flat Stanley!

Mrs. Sanders' second graders recently completed an exciting Flat Stanley project that took them on a journey around the world! Students tracked their flat friends as they traveled to exotic locations including Denmark, Aruba, and local favorites like Boston and New Hampshire. After sharing their presentations in class, students enjoyed a gallery walk to explore their classmates' adventures and discoveries. It was a fantastic way to build geography skills, spark curiosity about new places, and celebrate the creativity of our young learners!
