May 15, 2026

Dear Holy Name Families,

Congratulations to our new Student Council members! Additionally, I'd like to thank all those students who demonstrated great courage by running for one of the positions. Wednesday's speeches were written and delivered well. Collectively, they offered many great ideas for our next Student Council to consider.

Thank you to the 6th grade for serving as the host for the Feast of the Ascension Mass. Thursday's Mass was also our annual Buddy Mass. The 6th graders processed into Church in caps and gowns accompanied by their nursery buddies.

The Buddy Mass is one of many events that celebrate our graduating class. Another important milestone for the Class of 2026 will take place next week. They will attend Camp Eisner for a four-day camp experience; a long-running tradition that serves as the capstone of their Holy Name experience.

Enjoy the weekend.

Best regards,

Mr. Chisholm

Holy Name Happenings - Through the Lens

You Have the Courage to Fly!

This week, our K1 and Grade 2 buddy classes came together to explore what courage really means, a character strong value that we have been working on. Each student decorated a feather and labeled something they need courage to do—whether it's trying something new, speaking up, or facing a challenge.

The feathers were arranged into a beautiful mural with a powerful message: "You Have the Courage to Fly!"

Feast of the Ascension and Buddy Mass: On Thursday our school community gathered to celebrate the Feast of the Ascension with Father Tom officiating. Our sixth graders assisted with the liturgy, processing in with their nursery buddies and all buddy classes sat together. It was truly wonderful to witness these connections in action and to see how our school community supports one another across grade levels. We are truly blessed to have celebrated Jesus's Ascension into Heaven together as one faith community.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!
