Dear Holy Name Families,

Yesterday, we celebrated a school Mass for the Feast of the Ascension as well as our annual Buddy Mass. Students in K1 to 5th grade sat alongside their buddies while 6th grade processed in and out with their nursery buddies while donning their graduation caps and gowns. Fr. Evans celebrated his final school Mass and received a well-deserved round of applause. We hope to see many families at Mass this weekend especially the 9 am Family Mass on Sunday as we honor Fr. Evans.

Next Friday, our 6th graders will graduate. Their ceremony will be held at 5:30 pm in the Church. We look forward to celebrating their final week as Holy Name students.

Our 5th grade displayed their Wax Museum today during their English classes. They created cards and dressed as sports figures who broke barriers. They eagerly shared their research with students and faculty visitors. Well done!

Field Day is next Wednesday for all grades. Our Parent Field Day committee has a great day planned. Students should wear their gym uniforms.

Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Mr. Daniel Chisholm

Principal

Fifth Grade Wax Museum! To conclude their last Module: Breaking Barriers, the fifth graders created poster-sized baseball cards for different sports figures who broke barriers. They invited other grades to visit to learn about these important sport figures.

We wish the best of luck to Father Evans as he enters retirement and pray God blesses him with many exciting new adventures!
