Dear Holy Name Families,

We squeezed Field Day in just at the right time. Wednesday was a beautiful day to be outdoors before the heat moved in. Our students enjoyed the fun activities and games, slush, petting zoo, and face painting. Thank you to our Field Day Committee for its many hours of planning and to all our parent volunteers who made the day a great success.

We have enjoyed celebrating our 6th graders this week with their Class Mass, party, and final walk through. Their Graduation Ceremony will take place tonight at 5:30 pm in the Church. Congratulations and thank you to the Class of 2025! Click here to watch their end of year videos if you have not seen them courtesy of Mrs. Beatrice.

Next week is our final week of school. Nursery, K1, and K2 will have their celebrations or graduations on Tuesday. Summer packets will be sent home next week and students will receive their report cards on the final day of school. Thursday is the final day of school for grades 1 to 5. Dismissal is at 11 am.

Have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

Mr. Daniel Chisholm

Principal

Moments Captured this Week at HNPS

Congratulations to the Holy Name Parish School Class of 2025!

Field Day 2025 was an incredible, fun-filled celebration to mark the end of the school year! With face painting, New England Party Animals, exciting races, water games, and a moon bounce, the day felt just like a carnival. Delicious treats like ice cream, cotton candy, popcorn, and more kept everyone happy. Kids and adults alike left tired but beaming, carrying wonderful memories from a truly unforgettable day!

Our sixth grade class joyfully celebrated their Graduation Mass yesterday in our beautiful school chapel, led by our new Pastor, Pastor Thomas Macdonald, along with Father Evans and Father Ferme. Father Macdonald reminded the graduates that their connection to our school remains strong through our Lord, Jesus Christ, who will guide, protect, and challenge each student. As they embark on the next step of their educational journey, they carry with them valuable life and spiritual lessons to help navigate future challenges. Jesus Christ will be their steadfast rock. God bless the graduates of Holy Name Parish School as they prepare to graduate this afternoon.

It's that time of year for the Summer Adventures series! With your photo submission you will be entered into the drawing for an end of summer sweet treat (3 winners this year)! Send to Mrs. Beatrice - Advancement Office, your summer adventures photos. Whatever an adventure consists of: a trip to the library, fun at the playground, beach or lake, trip to the ice cream shop, or traveling somewhere special - any adventure!

Off to a great start with some cute ones. A photo of Kane at school and one with his sister exploring!

Home and School Association Thanks the Holy Name Parish School Community

A sincere thank you to our school community for supporting our many events over the course of this school year. The Home and School Association was proud to host several events in collaboration with our many dedicated parent and teacher volunteers. From Touch-a-Truck to Holiday Marketplace to Parent Social/Silent Auction, we had many opportunities to come together and raise vital funds to support our school. Our success would not be possible without the generosity and enthusiasm of our school community and area businesses.

We’d also like to acknowledge this year’s dedicated board, particular outgoing members: Anna Picard, Siobhan Mahoney and Catherine Kelly.

Co-President: Anna Picard

Co-President: Emily Day

Immediate Past President: Meghan Peterson

Secretary: Jessica O’Neil

Treasurer: Lindsay Reid

Communications Coordinator: Catherine Kelly

Volunteer Coordinator: Victoria Maguire

Sponsorship Coordinator: Siobhan Mahoney

For next year, you can look forward to many fun community building and fundraising events! Have a wonderful summer break.

We had a very successful Square1art fundraiser this year.

For the first time, classroom tiles were introduced and thank you to all the families who purchased one for display in the school.

We are very excited about displaying the children's work and we are working on the best possible way to display the tiles around our school.

Many thanks and have a lovely day!
