Dear Holy Name Families,

Yesterday, we wrapped up our school year by watching Shrek and enjoying popcorn. We also awarded some final Eagles. We ended with 42 and will carry that count forward into the next school year. It will take 11 more to fill our front bulletin board and earn a special celebration when we return in September.

Our nursery, K1, and K2 students showcased all they learned this year with their celebrations and graduation on Tuesday. It is always a happy, uplifting way to conclude the year.

While students deserve some time off, they do have some summer work to help keep their skills sharp. The packets were sent home in a white envelope this week.

Thank you to all of our students, parents, and teachers for making this a wonderful school year.

Have a great summer!

Sincerely,

Mr. Daniel Chisholm

Principal

A Message from Mr. Kincaid and Ms. Summers

First graders John Kincaid and Ainsley Summers served as Co-Principals of the Day on Wednesday - an experience won at Home & School's Adult Social. During their day, they composed a special note for this week's newsletter.

"Principal-for-a-Day was a fun experience. It was fun visiting classes like Technology where the 3rd grade made miniature golf holes and seeing what other grades are learning.

We hope students have fun this summer and make good choices. Have a great and restful summer. See you next year."

Mr. Chisholm enjoyed his day with John and Ainsley and very much appreciated the extra help.
