HAPPY THANKSGIVING
I've been reflecting this Thanksgiving week on just how BLESSED we truly are! Almighty God has been so good to all of us. We used to sing an old hymn in church that said, "Count your blessings, name them one by one. Count your blessings and see what God has done." I would encourage you to take some quiet time this week, in between the food and the football games, to count your blessings out loud! Instead of focusing on our problems, let's give God praise for Who He is, and for all that He has done for us!
I'm thankful for how God continues to add to His church each and every week. This past Sunday we welcomed 7 new members into our church family. Please, go out of your way to let these precious people know how happy we are to officially make them part of Midland Valley Community.

THIS SUNDAY November 30 we are offering Family Christmas Photos as a fundraiser for Nazarene Youth Conference 2026! Photos will happen in the Youth Worship Room in The Chapel. Suggested donation is $25 per family. Each family will have a 15 minute session with Michelle O'Rourke and receive 3-5 images. Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your session. Fuse is collecting toy donations for children and teens (babies-18 years old, boys and girls) at the North Augusta Gardens Apartment Complex that we will deliver on Saturday December 6. Donations can be dropped off in the youth house foyer! Teens - please let Pastor Erica know if you want to go with us to deliver toys!
Our next NYC payment ($450 per participant) is due by December 2. If you would like to donate to our students, please contact Pastor Erica at (615) 934-7998. Our Hire a Teen Fundraiser is still going on as well - if you have any jobs around your home or business you'd like to pay a teen to accomplish, you can sign up with Pastor Erica!

Bible Babes Bible Study
Bible Babes Class meets on Tuesday Mornings at 10:00 in the Chapel (on the hill). Study the Bible with a very interactive and friendship building group. Questions via text or call Janey Rule (706) 951-4886

Sunday Morning Small Group News
College Ministry “the GAP” - Sunday mornings, a college Small Group class meets @ 9:40am in the Chapel. On Wednesday nights they will gather around 7:00pm in the Chapel. Contact Matthew O’Banion @ (803) 640-4329 with any questions.
Small Group called “The In Between” meets on Sundays @ 9:40am in Room 224 (down the hall on the right from KidsWay). Are you looking for a place to find community, connection, fellowship and grounding in Christ as you walk through the different “in-betweens” of life? Married, single, man, woman, young & old!
Relocated classes: Pastor Wayne’s class, The Walk, has been relocated to Room 226 behind KidsWay and The Sermon Series Class has been relocated to Room 213 by the Fireside Room in the main building. Both meet at 9:40 am each Sunday.

PRAYER PARTNER MINISTRY
SEEKING ADDITIONAL VOLUTEERS
We are seeking an additional seven (7) volunteers for our Prayer Partner Ministry. The good news is that after almost a year of this ministry, we have not had one volunteer leave this ministry. The Prayer Partners are enjoying this ministry, and the ministry is making a big difference for our congregation. We would just like to move toward 8 on each team and maybe expand more in the future.
If you sign up for this ministry, then you will be assigned to one of the five Prayer Teams. You will serve on a 5 Sunday rotating basis. You will arrive at church at 8:00 am on your “duty” Sunday and prayer in the sanctuary for the services and then meet in Pastor David’s office at 8:15 to pray for him or whoever is preaching in his place.

There's only one more week to donate this year! We are collecting money the month of November, in the foyer before/after services. We will go to Mossy Creek Elem. "A Snack Just For You” Ministry
Provides snacks to patients receiving treatment at Aiken Oncology & Cancer Care Institute of Carolina in Aiken. We are continuously accepting donations in the straw hamper in the sanctuary foyer. A list of items needed is near that hamper, it includes pre-packaged chips, crackers, Oreos, Chex mix, gold fish, granola bars, cookies, Hershey kisses, pretzels, mixed nuts & 8 oz. bottles of water.
