Weekly Update
February 12, 2020
From the Principal's  Office
Dear Families,
As we head toward mid-winter break, I want to highlight a few things we have been working on as a school.

First off, we are completing our review of applications for the Class of 2024, with decision letters going in the mail tomorrow, February 13. We have a strong group of applicants, and are excited at the prospect of them joining our Brave community as we look ahead to next year.

Secondly, we recently released a new Course Catalog for 2020-2021 and it is posted on multiple pages of our website including at  https://www.bishopblanchet.org/important-documents--forms. The new catalog features a refreshed layout, course flowcharts for each department and refined course offerings. Among other additions is the inclusion of several new courses that may earn college credit. Honors Chemistry now carries a UW High School distinction. Our AP program, with the largest number of offerings of any Seattle, Catholic high school, added AP Computer Science Principles and AP World History, both of which will be open to students in the 10th grade.

Lastly, we have finalized our Year at a Glance calendar with key dates for the 2020-2021 school year.  Please note that the official school calendar is our Google calendar found on our website at   https://www.bishopblanchet.org/calendar. The link to the 2020-2021 Year at a Glance calendar is on the same page.

Please enjoy a restful mid-winter break.
