Congratulations Lucas Lees!

Lucas has been selected by the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Football Foundation to be honored as a 2023 scholar athlete. Lucas is one of approximately 40 senior football players in Los Angeles to be selected. The selection criteria is rigorous and all applicants must achieve All-League or All-CIF stature, have a cumulative 3.2 GPA and demonstrate voluntary service to their school/community.

Congratulation Lucas on this amazing accomplishment!

A standing ovation for our PVHS Red Cross Student Leaders!

Our second student spotlight this week goes to the PVHS Red Cross Club, notably President Jenna Chow and Vice President Alaina Wong for their tireless work in organizing a blood drive on campus for parents, teachers and staff. Setting up such a comprehensive event has taken many months and required these student leaders to show fantastic resolve and work ethic as they have led the communication with the Red Cross to get them to come to PVHS, booked facilities, created signups, managed advertising, and much more. Thank you to the PVHS Red Cross Club and partners National League of Young Men for helping PVHS be able to put on such an important and potentially life-saving event on campus!

The blood drive will take place this upcoming Friday, March 3 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m in the MPR. A permission form is required for 16-year-old students, and they must have the paper with them when donating.

Here is the Website link to sign up as a donor.

Here is the Consent form for 16-year-olds

Please spread the word to students aged 16 and up, and parents and consider donating yourself!
