MARCH BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
Osawatomie Public Library

The Osawatomie Public Library, located at 527 Brown Ave., is a treasure of the community and has been serving patrons since 1889. The library has recently announced the appointment of their new director, Dr. Morgan Menefee Crabtree. The full press release is available here.

We will be having a Chamber Coffee on Thursday, March 18th to welcome the library's new director and celebrate the next phase of their development! Join us at 11:00 am for coffee and conversation.

Drive-In at Midway

Michael and Heather Wood took over the Midway Drive-In last year and have been giving it their all to get it up and running for the coming season!
They worked to get rezoned in order to have swap meets, car shows, events, etc. and will be extending their movie season! They plan to open for swap-meets at the end of the month.
The Osawatomie Chamber, along with the Paola Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an after-hours ribbon cutting on Friday, March 26th at 6:00 pm.

Auto Boys are known for getting it done right!
They take pride in their work and will work within your budget or circumstance to conquer the challenges in a timely manner.
The Chamber will be hosting a ribbon cutting later this year so you can meet the team!

Bore Da Market

Located at 573 Main Street in Osawatomie, KS.
They are currently accepting online bakery orders for their weekend "pop-ups" and plan to be up and running in April!
Stay tuned! The Chamber will be hosting a ribbon cutting later this year for you to meet them and hopefully sample some of their goodies!

Vaccinations

Miami County Health Department has announced Phase 2 of the state’s COVID-19 vaccine plan, as well as the full plan for vaccine prioritization. To read Phase 2 instructions on how to receive your vaccine, click here. To read the full plan for vaccine administration, click here.

Olathe Health has opened up appointment slots for the next few weeks, with the expected arrival of more vaccine supply this week. Sign up at www.olathehealth.org/vaccine. Read more here.
Come join us for our first in house activity in a year.  

Kids ages 2-11 have the choice of planting fairy carrots, making seed tapes, or both. Teens and Adults will painting a small pot and planting an herb to take home.

Sign up is required for teens and adults and preferred for kids.
Masks are required for ages 5 and up.
Mark your calendars for June 25th, 26th & 27th - Osawatomie's Lights on the Lake is coming back with a bang for its 2021 celebration.
