FAITH PROMISE SUNDAY
FOR MISSIONS

One of my favorite days of the whole year is our annual Faith Promise Missions Sunday. This is when we pray and ask God what He would have us give over the next 12 months for World Missions, and mission outreach here at home. Faith Promise is an act of faith that promises God to give a specific amount to world evangelism through regular weekly, monthly, or annual giving, and it generates a genuine passion for missions.

Our special speaker this Sunday will be my good friend Dr. Stanley Ushe. Stanley was born in Zimbabwe, and answered God's call to preach as a teenager. He graduated from Africa Nazarene Bible College and served for many years as a successful pastor. For the past 15 years Stanley has been the District Superintendent for the KwaZulu-Natal District Church of the Nazarene in Durban, South Africa. He has also served on the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene in Lenexa, Kansas for the past 5 years. Stanley and his wife Grace, and their family live in Durban, South Africa.

Also, on Sunday we will be introducing our new local NMI President, Mr. Scott Looman. You will be encouraged and inspired with Scott's ideas and goals for the coming year to make our Mission Emphasis even more visible and stronger than ever. We also plan to dedicate Midland Valley Community's 2022-2023 Faith Promise Offering to the memory of our long time NMI President Vicky Ostendorf who sadly passed away unexpectedly this past year ❤.
Our Financial goal is $80,000 for the next year. Let's give generously to support our missionaries. We have missionaries in over 160 countries around the world. Let's even EXCEED our goal...we can literally CHANGE our world, and we could put a SMILE on Vicky's face!!!!

BREAKING NEWS: DR. STANLEY USHE WILL BE SPEAKING AS WELL TONIGHT IN THE FMC @ 6:30PM in our WEDNESDAY NIGHT WISDOM CLASS!!!

Looking forward to all God has in store for us this week as we celebrate Missions! Don't dare miss it!
