Seattle Pride Parade Invite

We are looking forward to participating in the Seattle Pride Parade this year on Sunday, June 26!
(The parade officially begins at 11am. Our actual walking start time is dependent upon where we are in the parade order. It generally takes two-three hours to complete the 1.75-mile parade route once we start moving.)
Thanks to our fabulous partners at Open Door Ministries, we have a rich history of participating in this PRIDE event. We are registered as a group from the synod - and we look forward to participating with YOU in person again this year! We have gathered a team of leaders to help plan for our participation in this event, if you are interested in joining us, please contact Our next planning meeting is scheduled for April 20 at 3pm – via Zoom.
This will be the first in-person Pride Parade in Seattle in a few years – and there are NEW requirements in place! In particular, these items are required by the Pride Planners in order for us to participate:
proof of vaccination, the wearing of masks, and a complete list of all group attendees a month prior to marching. With these requirements, we must plan ahead more than we are used to!

We are asking for you to email with:
1) an RSVP that you would like to bring a group AND
2) name of a point person for your congregation/ministry site
This point person will be the contact for your delegation of walkers… promoting the event, sharing information from the planning team, AND collecting names of all of your ministry’s participants to share with the planning team by MAY 25.
