Executive Order 20-40 Retail Rules & Guidelines

On Thursday, April 28, 2020 Governor Tim Walz extended the stay at home order with Executive Order 20-40. This EO allows retail business to reopen for specific types of shopping. Delivery, curbside pickup, online shopping, shipping order, and orders by phone are now all allowed for retail businesses. Customers entering stores is still prohibited at this time.

Service industries that are prohibited from opening are allowed to sell retail items for curbside pickup or delivery.
