Food Needed for Lowell Transitional Living Center

Temple Landscaping Help Needed for new date of Sunday, May 19
House Committee needs help transplanting overgrown bushes, planting new plants, weeding, edging and spreading mulch. Need people to help with 3-hour shifts–one shift starting at 8am and another at 10am.
Josh Degen and Linda Lischer will support and supervise. Need people to bring own working gloves. Could use shovels, hard rakes, leaf rake, wheelbarrows, edgers, buckets, brooms, pruning shears, loppers, 100 ft. extension cord, hedge trimmer, blower.  If you are available for a few hours, please email  Larry Cohen and let him know what starting time is best for you and what tools you will be bringing.
50/50 Raffle Tickets
Remember to send in your stubs and checks–$10 per ticket. The more tickets sold, the more money for the winner! Drawing will be June 2 at the Annual Meeting. You don't need to be present to win. For more tickets contact Fundraising .

The meeting will be held at the temple, with the option for virtual participation. The purpose of this meeting will be to vote on Bylaws changes to accommodate the potential for a voluntary system to replace dues, to approve the financial plan for next year, and to elect officers and trustees.
All members are encouraged to participate in this important business of
Congregation Shalom.

Save Your Used Clothing
In a few weeks, we will have a container in the parking lot for your outgrown and unwanted clothing. It's the perfect time to clean out your closet! Help the congregation by donating all your used and never worn items. We will let you know when the container arrives, but start saving now!
