**UPDATE ON IMPROVING THE LIVE STREAMING OF MASSES IN THE CHURCH **

We are excited to announce that we received a small grant from the CARES Act which we have committed towards improving the quality of our live streaming in the church, especially the sound. This system will also make it possible for us to live stream from two sources: Facebook and Vimeo, which will make our liturgies more accessible to more people, especially those who do not use Facebook. If you would like to support this effort, please contact Michelle Scheving, our Parish Administrator. michelles@olgseattle.org ; 206-935-0358
Archbishop Etienne's Video Message
. ...Providing an update to the Archdiocese’s response to the recent developments to our state’s COVID-19 plans. He speaks to how those developments, especially related to religious services, apply to our Catholic liturgies, and asks for patience as they continue to work out the details. More to come…
GET BACK IN THE LOOP!

Due to coronavirus concerns, this year’s Loop the ‘Lupe Obstacle Course 5K will be postponed to Sunday, August 23 rd , 2020, starting at 1 p.m . We’re adjusting the schedule based on advice from the Governor’s Office and the City of Seattle Parks and Recreation Department. Barring any major setbacks, large gatherings of 50+ people will be allowed in our state by the first of August, so we’re planning on a fun, end-of-summer event with appropriate physical distancing.

Money raised from Loop the ‘Lupe supports a wide range of social service work at OLG, and WE NEED YOU! Sign up for the race at www.loopthelupe.com , follow @loopthelupe on Facebook, and (if you’re just in it for the t-shirt), consider being a stay-at-home “Lounge Chair Looper,” a new option for this year!

Questions? Contact Race Director Brian Callanan at loopthelupe@gmail.com .
This year’s Annual Catholic Appeal has us reflect upon A Future Full of Hope: Passion for our Faith, Promise for our Future, Care for our Community, and Love for our Family. Please prayerfully consider giving to the needs of our Archdiocese as we conduct the 2020 Annual Catholic Appeal over the next four weeks.
