Volunteer with The Open Door and DCR Chamber of Commerce

The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce our partnership with the Open Door for volunteers for the Open Door’s Drive through Distribution on June 1, 2020 at the Dakota County Norther Service Center.

This event is designed to make more food available in a manner that keeps community members and volunteers safe. We will receive 20-25 pallets of farm-fresh produce, milk, eggs, and cereal in the East Parking Lot, and then we will sort/pack them all into individual portions, then hand them out to families as they drive through. Here is a video of  one from last week  to give you a better idea of what it looks like. All volunteers wear masks, gloves, and exercise social distancing.

We are proud to support the Open Door! Please join us in volunteering to support this organization.  #BETTERTOGETHER
