THANK YOU!!

We have now met our ACA parish share goal thanks to the generous contributions of our OLG community. We have had 35% participation so far - Let's make it 50%!

For those that have not yet given, every additional dollar donated will come directly back to the parish through the rebate program. Help fully fund the expansion of our youth and young adult ministry.

We are almost there. We just need $7536.38. Donate Now
Recently, our young people in the faith formation program were asked to to share their thoughts on what social justice means to them. Here are two poems from our young people - voices from our future leaders.
GOOD NEWS
Thank you for helping this family into the next step of their American journey.
Many of you have met the asylum-seeking families that OLG and our Immigrant Ministry have been helping to support over the past year or so. We hosted several events where we were able to celebrate, break bread together, and hear their stories. We are happy to report that one of the families just moved into their own apartment this past week! After arriving in March and getting their work permits, the family has been steadily employed and saving money since January. What an amazing accomplishment in such a short time, especially considering all the challenges they’ve faced in recent years. Many members of our Immigrant Ministry group rallied to help furnish the apartment. Everything on their list was taken care of in just 24 hours! The family is so grateful to God and to all of you for your support. They even heard Spanish songs coming from the apartment below them the first night they moved in, which was a warm welcome for them indeed!
We know online shopping has surged during the pandemic. Shop at  smile.amazon.com  and Amazon will donate to your favorite charitable organization.

What a great way to give and receive !
