MacHabitat was thrilled to be recognized as recipients and focus from Oregon Housing Community Services (OHCS) in their latest press release:

OHCS joins McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity in celebrating the completion of four new affordable homes for homeownership in the Aspire Community Development.

These homes are the first to be built with support from OHCS’ Homeownership Development Incubator Program, which aims to increase the supply of affordable homes by funding construction of diverse & innovative housing types that meet the various needs of local communities.

Hillary and Daniel Cuauxinque and their family, pictured, are some of the new residents at Aspire.

"The best part of owning our home is simply having a home to call ours, a home where we get to create new memories and watch our children grow," Hillary said.

MacHabitat invites you to two upcoming events in September! All proceeds from each event support MacHabitat's "Women Build," uplifting women in our community through the power of homeownership.

Yoga in the Vineyard returns! Join us for yoga in J.L. Kiff Vineyard led by Erin Bowman, with live music from Joel Kiff. J.L. Kiff wines and a delicious dinner catered by Harvest Fresh will finish out the lovely fall evening.

• This fair will allow employees to learn more about their benefits and connect with local providers for services, as the City of McMinnville believes it is important to support the health and wellness of their employees. 

October 1 - World Habitat Day - Join us at the MacHabitat ReStore!
