5th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament

The Chamber's Annual Golf Tournament is one week from tomorrow! If you are interested in forming a Team or Sponsoring this event, there is still time!
Citizen of the Year Nominations Sought

It's that time of year again and we're looking for those outstanding citizens that make our community a WONDERFUL place to live! The Osawatomie Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the Annual Outstanding Citizen/Volunteer of the year award!

This award is presented to an individual for leadership and vision, along with
volunteer service to the community. The nominations should stress how this
person’s efforts have benefited the quality of life in Osawatomie. You will be asked to describe how the Nominee has displayed exemplary commitment, support, skills, leadership, outreach to other citizens and desire to make a positive impact within
the Osawatomie Community.

Nominations are due by Friday, October 18th   and can be returned to the
Chamber Office in person, by e-mail or by regular mail. The Board will NOT accept any nominations beyond that date, so be sure to get your nominations turned it.

The winner will be announced at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Dinner in November. To download the necessary form, please visit the Chamber's Website.

Faith Community Church is an new church started out of Grace Community Church of Spring Hill. Pastor Dale Samuels is leading a group of 10 families that have formed the core group of the new church. Engaging Worship, Bible Teaching, Kid's Ministry and Nursery are all a part of Sunday morning worship gatherings. Everyone is welcome! Osawatomie State Hospital Administration Building
Monday, September 30th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Osawatomie State Hospital will be hosting a party for Wes Cole to celebrate and to express how very honored they are to have had him there at the hospital. This celebration is not just for the past year but for all his service to the state and the community as a whole. Friends of the Mentally Ill Foundation Potluck & Business Meeting

Monday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m.

The FMIF is planning a pot luck dinner to be followed by the annual business meeting at approximately 6:45 pm. They will be providing coffee and ice tea, rolls, and have condiments available. They will also provide table service. They will be reviewing the Foundations activities over the past year as well as announcing the results of the election for the 2020 Board of Directors. Miami County Cancer Foundation's Give them a BOOST

The Miami County Cancer Foundation spends thousands of dollars every year on nutritional drinks for their clients. They are collecting cases of nutritional drinks (Boost, Ensure) to provide to their clients (who prefer Chocolate flavor - but of course all donations are welcome). They drop off location is at the Paola Chamber of Commerce (6 West Peoria) Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They will be accepting donations until October 31st.
Donate Your Gently Worn, Used & New Athletic Shoes

Help the Ozone raise funds for their organization by donating your gently worn, used and new athletic shoes! Money raised will be put towards improving the fitness center!
