World Habitat Day &

Happy 100th Birthday to Jimmy Carter!

Join us on October 1st to celebrate the 100TH BIRTHDAY of Habitat for Humanity champion and former President Jimmy Carter!

In honor of Jimmy Carter's 100th birthday and World Habitat Day, we are having CAKE (while supplies last!) and free activities for the community! Come celebrate with us at the McMinnville Area Habitat ReStore on Tuesday, October 1st!

Each year, our MacHabitat Dinner & Auction brings people together to build homes, community and hope. A lush 4-course dinner from Humble Spirit, fine wines from local winemakers, silent auction and live auction will frame our signature event to build homes for five families.

PLEASE NOTE: These homes are funded by a generous grant from Fairview Trust, and are reserved for applicants or others living in the household with Intellectual and/or Developmental Disabilities.

Thank you to Kerrie Savage and the Velvet Monkey Tea Shop!

MacHabitat would like to thank Kerrie and Serengeti Savage hosting a Watercolor Workshop to benefit MacHabitat's Women Build family! Kerrie is a wonderful teacher, providing support with everything from cute stationery kits, artist supplies, good advice, and guidance to make all participants feel welcome. And Serengeti Savage, owner of the Velvet Monkey Tea Shop (and also Kerrie's daughter!) gave us a beautiful space to make art, and even provided teas to our guests!

Women Build is all about coming together to uplift women through the power of homeownership - and we are thankful to have the support of both of these women who are strong leaders in our community.

Thank you, Kerrie and Serengeti!
