Convention Delegates, please join via Zoom from individual locations for the pre-convention meeting on Saturday, August 22 at 12:00 pm. This meeting will include important information for clergy, delegates, alternates, and congregational leaders as we prepare for Convention.

Tai Chi at the Cathedral

Join us for an evening of gentle movement and mindful presence as we practice Tai Chi at the Cathedral in the tranquil setting of the Labyrinth. Wednesday, August 19, at 5:30 pm. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, all are welcome to share in this peaceful experience.

Fall Festival at Cathedral Square

The Stewardship Committee is organizing a Fall Festival for the Parish and Community on September 20, 2026, from 11:00 to 3:00 pm , following the service. Please join us!

Cathedral Kids

Join us starting Sunday, September 13 from 10:00 – 10:30 am. Perfect for kids ages 5 & up! We look forward to seeing you there!

St. Matthew’s Vestry

The Vestry of St. Matthew’s serves as the elected lay governing board of our parish. Working in partnership with the Dean, we act as stewards to guide the spiritual mission of the congregation, manage church property, and oversee the annual budget.

The vestry generally meets on the third Monday of each month at 6:00 PM in Hunter Hall. Unless we are in executive session, meetings are open for anyone to attend. Please check the church calendar for updates. Our next vestry meeting will be Tuesday, August 18th.

Hard copies of vestry minutes, monthly reports, and detailed financials are available for review in the church office. Office hours are M-F, 9:00-2:30. We welcome requests for emailed copies of documents or to meet with any of us if you have questions about these records.

Bishop Search Prayer 

Almighty God giver of every good gift and source of all wisdom and understanding look graciously upon your church and so guide the minds and hearts of those who will choose our next bishop. We pray that to those who offer themselves as candidates in this process you will grant wisdom and discernment a spirit of revelation and knowledge of your will that they will care for all your people and equip us for our ministries through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

"Listen to me, you that pursue righteousness, you that seek the Lord. Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to the quarry from which you were dug."

Lord, help us to listen to You in all circumstances. You hold all understanding. Help us to not lean on our own understanding but to trust You day by day. Help us to remember that You have created us with Your purposes . Help us to stay on right paths, seeking you everyday. Be glorified in our midst. Let Your Name be famous among us. Help us to walk in faith and not fear (add your own prayers).
