Winter storm parking

When parking, please be careful not to let your bumper hang over the sidewalk. This helps our grounds crew clear sidewalks effectively.

Park in the garages tonight through at least Saturday. This helps our crew with snow removal in the parking lots. With blowing snow and dangerous wind chills, the grounds crew appreciates your cooperation and your patience as they work to keep everyone safe.



• The top decks of the garages will be blocked off starting tonight (Wednesday).
• The north (front) entrance to Medical Plaza East will be closed starting tonight. This will prevent snow from blowing inside when entering/exiting and prevent the doors from coming off the tracks due to high winds. They will stay closed through at least Saturday. Use the south entrance (the one facing the back parking lot).

Rooms available: For staff who want to stay to ensure they don't miss their assigned shifts, a limited number of rooms are available. Call 816.792.7010 to reserve a room. Hotel discounts are not available.

Hospital/clinic holiday hours and mail pickup

• Offices within the hospital and our off-campus clinics - except Urgent Care - will recognize Mondays, Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, as holidays and will be closed.
• The Liberty Clinic also will be closed Saturdays, Dec. 24 and 31.
• Urgent Care hours are Dec. 24 and 31 - 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Dec. 25 & Jan. 1 - closed.
• No outgoing mail pickup Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
• Early mail pickup time will be 1 p.m. on Fridays, Dec. 23 and 30.

Employee anniversaries: Gift pickup Thursday

Employees celebrating five, 10, or more years on staff may pick up their anniversary gift Thursday, Dec. 22, from 6:30-10 a.m. in classroom 2 located on the ground floor of the Doctors Building. If unable to pick up at that time, gifts will be distributed to your manager. See list of honorees.
