“No Dumb Questions” Adult Forum Series — Starting, Sunday Feb 22 — 8:30–9:30 AM Undercroft at St. Matthew’s

Our faith grows when we can speak honestly and think critically—especially about the things we wonder about wrestle with or have never had the chance to ask. “No Dumb Questions” is a relaxed Adult Forum where together we can explore questions about faith scripture theology or church practice in an accessible conversation-centered setting. Coffee will be provided submit questions your index cards as you arrive then join table discussion and group conversation.

Doctrine of Discovery: A Lenten Education Series

This Lent, we invite you into a shared season of learning, prayer, and reflection as we explore the Doctrine of Discovery—how the Christian church has shaped and continues to shape systems of colonization, the harm those systems have caused and still cause, and what repentance, healing, and repair might ask of us today. Through teaching, conversation, and prayer, we will listen deeply, tell the truth, and seek a more faithful way forward together. Tea and treats are provided. Starting Monday, Feb 23 from 6:30-8 pm at St. Matthew's (in the undercroft). Continues each Monday through March 23rd. Please submit your RSVP's and your questions to Amanda Pittman at amanda@dismantlediscovery.org

Prayer "Prompt" for this week.

Micah 6:8

"He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

Lord, forgive us for the times that we have not done what You have told us to do. Help us to do what is just in Your sight, to be kind to others and to seek You humbly. Thank You for forgiveness when we come sincerely. Thank You for helping us to walk uprightly with You. (add your own prayers)

We also encourage you to pray for: The Wyoming Legislature, All Soul’s, Kaycee and The Church of England
