Thought-Provoking Forum on Building a Diverse, Inclusive, and Equitable Workforce

The Dakota County Regional Chamber, in partnership with Dakota County Technical College/Inver Hillls Community College, and Dakota-Scott County Workforce Development Board, held a community forum on “Building a Diverse, Inclusive, and Equitable Workforce.” The forum was designed as a starting point to diversify and create equitable and inclusive work environments.

The keynote address by Sonja Simpson, Director of Employer Relations, Center for Economic Inclusion, started the important conversation and was followed by a panel discussion on practical strategies. Panelists, Christi Krautbauer, Director of People, Strategy and Planning, Thomson Reuters, Maria Sarabia, Diversity, Inclusion and Organizational Development, Human Resources Manager, Ramsey County, and Arnoldo Curiel, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Administrator/Civil Rights Coordinator, Dakota County, provided a thought provoking and thoughtful conversation on this critical topic.
