This class is designed for those who would like to chant Torah publicly as well as for those who may not want to chant publicly but want to be more knowledgeable about Torah chanting and the Torah service. Israel Through Jerusalem U’s YouTube Channel with Rabbi Ari Isenberg
F all in love with Israeli culture, history, and innovation through this unique multi-media experience, facilitated by Rabbi Isenberg. Together, we’ll explore, learn, and discuss, all while strengthening our connection to our homeland.
Jewish Social Justice with Gladstein Rabbinic Fellow Ariana Capptauber
Students will gain a sense of the Jewish values in protecting the environment and understand the importance of doing so, both through campaigns and in daily behavior. They will also examine their personal practices and their impact on the environment as we learn together Jewish texts related to environmental protection. As a culminating project, we will together carry out a campaign to engage TIC in environmental protection.
Please note: You can choose either class. Fall session ends November 20, 2019. New topics will begin in December.
