State Budget Debate
Governor Walz proposed a state budget for the next four years and the Legislature is busy working on setting that budget for the two-year cycle beginning July 1, 2019.
While the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce says the revised forecast has good and bad news, the group describes the Governor's budget as hitting businesses hard and "an overreach and unaffordable for all Minnesotans."

We are requesting your participation in our Wine & Spirits Pull fundraising activity being held at the Wom

n's Leadership Forum. Is your business able to provide a monetary donation or donate a bottle of wine or spirits valued at $15.00? Proceeds from the Wine & Spirits Pull will be donated to the DCR Chamber Foundation Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships to high school students within the county. This year, we are presenting five, $1000 scholarships. Last year, the Wine & Spirits Pull was one of our most popular events and we hope to double our proceeds this year.
