This Sunday we will be celebrating the

4th Sunday of Lent

EASTER FLOWERS

If you wish to sponsor a plant in memory of or in honor of someone, pick up the “Easter Flower Order Form”. NOW AVAILABLE IN THE CHURCH OFFICE.

Please make checks Payable to JWUMC and write “Easter Flowers” on the memo line. Cost is $14.00/per plant.

Bring the form and payment to the church office or leave it in the black metal mailbox outside the office door.

DEADLINE FOR ORDERING IS FRIDAY APRIL 12TH

To all non-members of our Ministry Teams; We need your help for Coffee Hour.

If you are willing to bring a coffee hour treat to assist our ministry teams it would be gratefully appreciated!!

Some suggestions are cookies, brownies, deviled eggs, cake, egg casseroles, cheese and crackers, trifles, just something for all to enjoy. You may have that something special to share!

Kindly let us know if you can share in our Ministry Team of Hospitality on every Sunday after worship.

Changing our World donations for March is Fishing for the Mission 22.

This is not just an organization; it is a movement dedicated to supporting our veterans and combating the tragic epidemic of veteran suicides. Their purpose extends beyond raising awareness, but strive to create a sanctuary of healing and connection through the tranquility of fishing. Their support does not stop at the water’s edge, they provide vocational retraining opportunities in the marine industry for veterans. They stand tall as a beacon of hope and support.

Joy von Steiger, Marilyn McFarland’s daughter is looking for someone to keep an eye on their Falmouth house. Below is what she is asking:

"I am hoping to find someone who would be interested in helping me with the Cape house. I could pay per hour or a fixed rate. I need someone who can take the trash in and out when we aren't there during the week, can meet service people at the property, can go into the house and check on things once per week, and check on any projects at the property, ie building, installation of fences or security systems, arborists,.....

I would pay competitively and am open to negotiating a payment arrangement that would be generous. I want someone who could work year around although we will be there from 6/17-Aug 20. I would pay someone during that time but there wouldn't be much for them to do.
