Food for Thought: Illinois Secure Choice

Friday, November 11, 11:30 a.m-1 p.m., Bolingbrook Community Center, 201 Canterbury Lane, Suite B, Bolingbrook. Illinois Secure Choice is the state mandated retirement plan that requires Illinois employers (with 25 or more employees and in business for two years) that currently do not offer a retirement plan to enroll. This November the employee threshold lowers to 15; and in 2023 the threshold lowers to five with penalties and fines for non-compliance. Specifics of the retirement program and how it affects your business will be presented by BACC Board Chairman Billy Hearth, of Edward Jones Investments, with an opportunity for questions and answers.
