Cathedral Ministry Fair

THIS SUNDAY

Following services

St. John’s is a fully inclusive community where anyone can become involved in the church and its various ministries. Visit our Ministry Fair to gather information about the various teams, committees, organizations, and educational opportunities that are available within the community. Come ready to ask questions and learn how you can share your gifts within cathedral life. Foster a deeper realization about your baptismal call to be a disciple of Christ.

Interim Dean and Priest-in-Charge's Note

Dear Friends,

This Sunday after the 8am & 10am services St. John’s Cathedral will host a Ministry Fair as a way for everyone to learn about the numerous ways to be involved in the life of our church. We will have twenty-one ministries represented by dedicated and active members, who will happily tell you more about what they do and the level of commitment needed.

Some of these ministries happen before, during, or after church services on Sunday, while other ministries happen online. There are opportunities to gather physically at church both during the week and on Saturdays. Members and volunteers support worship in word and voice, use gifts and abilities on projects, and serve on committees working in partnership with clergy to provide leadership. There is something for everyone, and you are most welcome to join us. Special thanks to our Parish Life ministry team for their leadership and support.

There are ministries that require active membership of St. John’s Cathedral. Membership is defined as someone committed to following Jesus, who attends church regularly, who has made a pledge of financial support, and seeks to be involved. We hope to see you! You are invited to grow in faith.

Much love and blessings,

Anne+
