Monday Video Conference re: Changes to Carpenters Northern MN Pension Fund

The Carpenters’ pension fund for the agreements covering parts of Wisconsin, Northern MN, ND, and SD is moving to a Lifetime Fringe Benefit Fund Design. This change has many ripples, including, we believe, significant changes to the contributions and hourly rate in Spring. We have arranged a video conference with Carpenters this coming Monday, November 30, at 2:00 pm to explain these changes. If you are signatory to one of these agreements, you should have received an email inviting you to the meeting. (If you did not get the email, remember to use our To Be Bound forms! Email Mike to get the Zoom invite information.)

AGC 2020 Annual Business Meeting + Interactive Seminar

The AGC 2020 annual business meeting will be held virtually NEXT Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 3:00 pm.

Members are strongly encouraged to register! It's important that we take a moment each year to process the business of the association, including electing new directors and officers, thanking our outgoing Board of Directors volunteers, and approving the collective actions of the Board over the past year. We rely on our members to do this work.
"Taking Care of Ourselves, Others, and Our Future"

Beyond general matters of the business meeting, we have engaged a captivating speaker, Brent Darnell, to speak on the timely topic of "Taking Care of Ourselves, Others, and Our Future."

In the best of times, construction is a highly stressful industry. Even before COVID-19, the industry was starting to see the effects of managing high stress situations. Now, due to incredible uncertainty and fear, there are even higher levels of stress. Participate in this seminar and learn how to navigate through VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) times. Gain insight into managing stress in a positive way and staying connected with our network during these unprecedented times. Is there a way to innovate for the future? This highly interactive seminar will cover it all!
