Policy News
FCC Starts Awarding Telehealth Monies: On Monday, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) opened its application for the $200 million authorized under the CAREs Act. They acted quickly in announcing the first five providers to receive these monies on Thursday. Providers may apply here until the funds run out. Check out the FCC’s how to video on applying and our cheat sheet on this new funding stream here.

As you know, Zoom is our meeting and event hosting platform. We have incorporated additional security in our Zoom events by placing passwords on the meetings and locking then once in progress. We are following the Zoom security recommendations. Additionally, Zoom is doing a great job reacting and communicating about everything and releasing updates to mitigate risk almost daily.

The Most Wired program is extending the survey deadline to ensure organizations have ample time to participate once the COVID-19 pandemic is contained.
