Robyn Eisenband-Strunk B'nai Mitzvah

Robyn Eisenband-Strunk is the child of Julie Eisenband and Chris Strunk (Rock Island), granddaughter of Dr. Bob and Kathy Eisenband (Atlanta, GA), Alison Cien Fuegos (St. Louis, MO), Juanita Strunk (Kansas City, MO, and the late Dr. Bob Strunk. Robyn is the sister of Noa Eisenband-Strunk. Robyn is 12 years old and in seventh grade at Washington Junior High in Rock Island. Robyn enjoys playing oboe, writing music, and reading as much as possible. During the summer, Robyn attends Camp Tavor, a Jewish camp in Three Rivers, Michigan. Robyn has always loved reading and animals, so their mitzvah project is planning, organizing, and running two events with the Rock Island Public Library and the Martin Luther King Jr. Center where children can read aloud to dogs. Our family is excited to celebrate Robyn’s upcoming B’nai Mitzvah with services on Friday, November 15 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, November 16 at 9:30 a.m. The services will be held at Beit Shalom, and a brunch will be served following Saturday morning services. The entire congregation is welcome.
