Last week, I had some awesome visitors in my office. I met Nadia and Levi, two District 16 constituents, and had the honor of introducing them on the House Floor. Nadia and Levi are students at UAA and East High School, respectively, who were visiting Juneau with the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA) program. I also had a great discussion with the Alaska Youth for Environmental Action (AYEA). They shared their belief that new revenue should be approved to better fund education and expressed concerns about the impact of climate change in Alaska.
