Honoring for a Second Time: Kindergarten Teacher, Ms. Jennifer Bradley

As we continue to lift up in our thoughts and prayers Ms. Bradley and her entire family, we wanted to re-publish our recent teacher feature about her here below.
Ms. Bradley continues her recovery from a major heart attack this past Friday, March 25th. The family is deeply grateful for the words of encouragement extended their way.
A member of our LIttle Raptors Kindergarten Faculty, this is Jennifer Bradley's second year of teaching at LLCA. She studied Psychology and Elementary Education at UNCA. She is a mom to two children, Brookelyn and Noah.
Of her role as teacher, she said, "I believe that being a mom to two grown kids and starting my teaching career later in life has helped to shape what kind of teacher I strive to be.
I absolutely love the age of students I work with and can't imagine teaching any other grades. They are the best!"

5th Grade Raptors Enjoy a Day with their Head in the Clouds at Bearwallow Mountain
Muddy Sneakers for our fifth-grade students on Friday, March 25th, was chilly but majestic. It was a fantastic view and a great place to study clouds and weather. Students collected meteorological data throughout the day on wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and cloud formation. It was great to study air mass, density, and fronts.
Coach Flandreau’s Middle School PE classes are having a blast using their new equipment!
Course registration is here!
Mrs. Powell met this week with all rising 9th - 12th graders to provide guidance on course registration. Course registration requests will be due next Friday, April 1st.
If parents or students would like to discuss academic planning, they are strongly encouraged to reach out to Mrs. Powell or Mr. Smith.
Finding a good path for higher education and a career is a complex process for a high school student, and we are delighted to have the chance to try to help our Raptors find their very own unique flight patterns.
