Annual Meeting
On Sunday, St. Mary's elected three vestry members at the Annual Meeting. Meet your 2018 Vestry! Those in red were elected or re-elected this year.

Farewell, Fr. Patrick!
This past weekend, we bid our rector, Fr. Patrick Perkins, farewell. On behalf of the congregation, Mr. Todd Chenault-Wiseley, senior warden, presented him with a farewell gift consisting of a vestment set and a "purse." Thank you for your service to St. Mary's, Father!

Services During the Week
Beginning the week of January 29th, the weekday service schedule will be as follows:

  • Tuesday 12:05pm - Low Mass
  • Wednesday 12:05pm - Low Mass
  • Wednesday 6pm - Sung Mass (Stations of the Cross during Lent in lieu of Mass)
  • Thursday 12:05pm - Low Mass
  • Saturday 11:05pm - Low Mass

There will be no services on Mondays and Fridays.

The Sunday service schedule will remain unchanged:

  • 8:00am - Low Mass
  • 10:00am - Solemn High Mass with choir
The Presentation of Jesus Christ in the Temple
The Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Friday, February 2nd at 6:00pm
Solemn High Mass by Candlelight
Three names but one joyous feast day which brings to a close the Christmas season. The child Jesus is recognized by Simeon and Anna at his presentation in the Temple. "A light to enlighten the Gentiles, and the glory of His peoples Israel." We will bless the candles we will use for the upcoming year at St. Mary's, and will send you home with a candle you can use devotionally in your home.

Baptism and Confirmation
If you are interested in pursuing the Christian life by being baptized, or if you would like your child to be baptized, now is the time! There will be a baptism preparation class during Lent at a time convenient for all. The baptisms are scheduled for the Easter Vigil (Sat., March 31).

Now is also the time to begin preparation for Confirmation or formal reception into The Episcopal Church.

Spirituality unTapped is a monthly event where young adults from all walks of life get together for good discussion over drinks or coffee. Spirituality unTapped is jointly hosted by St. Andrews Episcopal Church and St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
  • Bishop's Day. Saturday, March 3rd, 10am-3:30pm, Grace & Holy Trinity Cathedral, 13th and Broadway. The Bishop requests that all clergy, staff, and vestry members attend.
