Helping Hands School Supplies
St. Mary's parishioner Ginny Murray is on the board of directors of Healing Pathway . She has invited us to take part in this opportunity to donate school supplies for students grades 1-12. All generic school supplies are welcome : back packs, book bags, packs of lined notebook paper, packs of No 2 pencils, packs of blue or black ball point pens, pencil bags, boxes of Kleenex, etc.

There will be a container at the back of the nave by the baptismal font for the next three Sundays. Please bring a back pack full of supplies for these children in need! We will ask God's blessing on these school supplies during the 10am Mass on Sunday, August 12th.

Healing Pathway Victim Service Agency is a recognized 501c3 nonprofit organization, formed in 2012. Healing Pathway advocates and empowers children that have lost a parent or parents to homicide within the Kansas City metropolitan area. Sponsoring the altar flowers is a beautiful way to honor loved ones. Flowers are often given to mark special life events such as birth and birthdays; anniversary of a wedding, baptism, confirmation; the memory of a loved one; or as a thanksgiving for life’s blessings. Flowers are not a budgeted item in our church operations. The only funds available for use by this ministry are the funds you donate. You are invited to take part in this ministry!

If you'd like to sponsor altar flowers, click here for more information. In addition to the average Sunday, we are accepting donations for flowers for St. Mary's Day which is Sunday, August 19th . The deadline for St. Mary's Day flower donations is Friday, August 10th .
