Royal Wedding
If you haven't had a chance to watch Bishop Curry's sermon from the Royal Wedding, here's a teaser:

“We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we discover that we will be able to make of this old world a new world."

Christian Education Opportunity at St. Mary's
When: Sundays in June and July

This summer, we will begin a reading club at St. Mary's as a starting ground for Christian education. C.S. Lewis, an Anglican lay theologian, wrote many works which inspired Christians to re-imagine the world in which they lived through a renewed Christian lens. The Screwtape Letters, one of his most popular works, calls Christians to reflect on the many influences calling for our time and devotion. Over nine weeks, meeting in the Tower Room following the reception after the 10am Sunday mass, we will discuss this work and the ways it shapes our Christian lives.

You can buy or borrow a copy of this book from many bookstores or libraries. The current price on Amazon is around $10 for paperback of $4 for Kindle.

If you are interested in taking part in the book study, please sign up here so that we know how many to expect.
Feast of the Visitation
Join us for the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary on Wednesday, May 30th. Solemn Evensong and Benediction begins at 6pm.

Father in heaven, by thy grace the virgin mother of thy incarnate Son was blessed in bearing him, but still more blessed in keeping thy word: Grant us who honor the exaltation of her lowliness to follow the example of her devotion to thy will; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
St. Mary's Weekday Parking
Good news! We have rented out many more of our parking spaces to those working in the downtown area. If you come to the parish Monday through Friday between the hours of 7am and 4pm, there are limited parking spaces available. Just because a space looks open doesn't mean that you can park there.

In the upper lot, only the first and third spaces against the building and closest to Holmes are available. In the lower lot, the following spaces are open: 33, 40, 42, 48, and 55. Please reach out to Deacon Gerry in the parish office if you have questions.
