This Sunday we are continuing to celebrate the season of Easter. You are invited to join us for in-person worship at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Gail Head will be providing music for us at the 10:30 a.m. service. You may also join us on Zoom for Morning Prayer at 9:00 a.m. As more and more people get vaccines, it is our hope that things across the State of Illinois and the country will begin to open up more. The Diocese of Chicago will continue to provide updates on what precautions we still need to be taking in order to provide a safe worship space for all who attend. Currently we have a limit of 40 people per service in our sanctuary. We are not allowed coffee hours, lunches, or receptions at this time inside the building, but we will keep you posted as things change. Masks are still required within our building, as is distancing for safety. At this time we are still not allowed to sing inside the church and I am grateful to those who have been playing organ and piano for our services.
Bishop-elect Paula Clark is recovering well following brain surgery. She left the hospital last Friday and is doing rehab at this time. The doctors are very happy with her progress. Her consecration has been rescheduled for Saturday, June 12 at 10:30 a.m. This service will be held at St. James Cathedral downtown and it will be live-streamed. We will share all of the information and link to watch this service as we get closer to the date. Please continue to keep Bishop-elect Paula Clark in your prayers.
See you on Sunday,
Rev. Fran +

This class is open to any adult wishing to learn more about the Episcopal Church, even if they do NOT wish to be confirmed or received. The classes promise to be engaging, fun, and informative. Please let Fran know if you are interested or have any questions. More details regarding the schedule of classes will be posted as the information becomes available.
