This Sunday we will observe the First Sunday in Lent with our 9:00 a.m. Morning Prayer worship service on Zoom. At 10:30 a.m. we will hold our Annual Parish Meetingon Zoom. A link for the Annual Meeting will be sent out to parishioners by email on Friday, along with a link to download the annual report. Please note that you may get a hard copy of the Annual Report of 2020 from the church office if you wish. At the Annual Meeting we will elect our new Vestry members, Churchyard Committee members, and our delegates and alternate delegates to Diocesan Convention. We will also review our budget for 2021 and celebrate the ministry of the past year. I hope that you will join us for this important event. Please remember we do not have in person worship this Sunday, February 21.
Each Wednesday night in Lent, beginning February 24, we will be praying Compline together on Zoom at 8:00 p.m. Compline is essentially a bedtime prayer, a prayer traditionally said as the final prayer of the day. It is one of the oldest prayer services that we have in our Book of Common Prayer and it comes out of the monastic tradition of praying the hours The schedule and links can be found in this newsletter. I hope you will join us for this time of prayer.
See you on Sunday,
Rev. Fran +
