God and Country Festival Cancels
Annual Celebration and Fireworks
The God and Country Association, Inc. has cancelled the July 1, 2020 God and Country Festival event scheduled for the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheatre. Because of the delay and uncertain ability to safely gather in large groups to hold the 54
annual event due to the impact of the Coronavirus, the 2020 event has been cancelled.
Historically the God and Country Festival Committee gathers over 10,000 guests from the Treasure Valley to Celebrate the Gospel Message, support local ministries and honor the Godly American Heritage of our Blessed Nation.
This would have been the 54
anniversary of the event which began in Lakeview Park by Honoring the founding freedoms of our Nation and delivering Christian Music Concert and the Gospel Message concluding with the City of Nampa Fireworks.
Watch for the announcement as many of the donors and event sponsors will be conducting a Live Online Broadcast Event on July 1 2020, this will be a similar program honoring God and Country associated with local radio broadcasters.
Next year we will celebrating 55 continuous years bringing the Communities of the Treasure Valley together which began with a Patriotic Parade followed with a Religious Celebration in Lakeview Park the Wednesday before July 4, 1966 and moved to the Ford Idaho Center in 2000.
