Snow Plowing

If anyone knows of a snow plowing company that would be interested in giving bids to plow/salt the church driveway and parking lot along with shoveling/salting the entrances and walkways to the church and pre-school please contact Ernie Lehman at

Upcoming Evening Prayer Wednesday, October 28

at 5:30 p.m.

How often does a person need to hear reminders that:



1) they matter;

2) they matter to God;

3) that God’s grace is always being shared;

4) that Jesus leads us to that truth; and

5) opportunities for us to ask for help or say thank you to God are important?

We need all these as often as we need oxygen to breathe.

These are all elements of our sharing at our monthly Evening Prayer gatherings. We keep the gatherings simple (we mostly sing a capella, sometimes there’s guitar accompaniment) and allow plenty of space for encountering God in silence. The point is the spiritual practice of assuming a posture of receptivity to God’s presence through a word of mercy and hope - not stylized perfection.

Sunday School

All Saints' Sunday

All Saints’ Sunday is on November 1st.  If you have lost loved ones during the past year, please print your name and their name on the sign up sheet in the narthex or call Rene in the church office so they can be included in the prayers and listed in the bulletin on All Saints’ Sunday. 

The Prince of Peace Book Club will meet on Tuesday, 10/27 at 1:00 p.m. The club will meet in the church office reception area to discuss Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus.

Everyone is welcome to attend and discuss our book choice. We welcome your opinions. Reading the book is not a requirement.

PoP Annual Craft Fair

Our annual Craft Fair will be on November 7 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

To make it a success we need donations of food, bakery items, crafts, gently used Christmas items, used jewelry and YOUR help the day of the fair.

Please sign up on the poster board in the narthex or click below to sign up for donations and also for a time you can work a 2 hour (or longer) shift at one of the booths. Use either one to sign up!

If you can’t sign up on-line or in person you can call Rene in the church office and she will sign you up.

We will be setting up the craft section on Friday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. so if you can help with that, please let Marci Sharp know. (marcisharp703@gmail.com)
